Designer Crush: Marchesa

Growing up, the same scenario used to play out time and time again … I’d shop at one of the three two somewhat-fashionable shops in our small town and another girl would inevitably show up donning the same dress, the same top, the same shoes, etc. … To put it like I would have back then, “It was so not cool.”
Well, my tastes have changed immeasurably and while I can’t remember the last time I spotted a carbon copy of myself at any function or event, the occurrence would still be just as tragic if it happened today …
Maybe that’s why when I was shopping for my own wedding gown, I ended up having a piece custom-made to ensure that my look would be completely original and incomparable to anything else on the market.
With that logic, I’m really loving the top three {non-bridal} gowns from Marchesa for a bride … they are jaw-droppingly gorgeous and so unique from the obligatory strapless A-line. Love!
Totally smitten for the short grey number, too … Perfect for bridesmaids or for an after-wedding dress, no?
