garden charm
You don’t have to live in a ritzy, chic town, or next door to a national park to have a beautiful garden wedding. Gardens, parks and public green areas are everywhere! Let the natural beauty of the garden work for you!
Depending on your region of the country, you may have to consider humidity, rain or extreme heat, but in general remember, with outdoor weddings you want to avoid direct sun, for photography. The sun is more directly overhead from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. which is not good for photography because harsh shadows can make unflattering pictures. A little later in the afternoon or earlier in the morning may be better.
Spring and summer are especially wonderful times to have garden weddings since more flowers and plants are in bloom. Look for areas that provide shade for guests and have room for adequate seating.
